Until now, cameras and monitors were sold separately at American Dynamics. Now with the quick attachment of our powerful camera module, your 20” LCD monitor becomes a motion detection system and a feature rich Public View Monitor. The ADMCAMODULE (White Camera module with Auto Iris), also available in black, attaches to the monitor quickly utilizing two screws and a cable connection. The modules are designed to work with the ADMNLCD20 and ADMNLCD20W monitors. The camera modules provide motion detection and switching from any video source to the internal, variable zoom, auto iris camera. The camera module is powered by the monitor and allows adjustment of the image dwell time and motion detection sensitivity. When used with the optional ADMLCD20CARD, the combination allows customers to display video or images and then switch to the internal camera when motion is detected. Using this feature, advertisements can be presented to attract attention and then the security function is displayed. The ADMLCD20CARD uses memory cards in multiple formats and allows the monitor to play MPEG, MP3, JPEG and other standard video and audio formats. The ADMNLCD20 and ADMNLCD20W monitors are excellent for public view applications and offer a remote control, anti-scratch shield, 12 volt power outlet (for camera) and control button lock-out to prevent tampering. Both models provide brightness and contrast significantly higher than standard LCD monitors.
